§1.GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. This Privacy Policy applies to persons using the Website located at the URL: http://www.copernicustorunhotel.com
    and is effective from 01.05.2018.
  2. The data controller of user data is: L&P Sp. z o. o. (hereinafter referred to as “We”).

§2. PERSONAL DATA

In connection with the implementation of the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation - hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”), we inform that:

  1. We process data for the following purposes:
    1. performance of a contract or taking actions at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR),
    2. handling inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR),
    3. consideration of complaints and claims (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR),
    4. storing documentation and fulfilling legal obligations incumbent on the Controller (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR),
    5. sending newsletters (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR),
    6. monitoring and improving the quality of provided services – request to fill out a survey or respond to several questions concerning the quality of services provided (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR),
    7. displaying personalized commercial information in social networks (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
  2. Providing data is voluntary but necessary to use the services. In case of consent, it is voluntary and given by clicking a checkbox containing the terms of the given consent.

If a person has given consent to data processing (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), data are processed until the consent is withdrawn, but afterward, information about who, when, and what consent was given may be archived (for the purpose of establishing, pursuing, or defending legal claims). In other cases, data are processed for a period justified by the purpose (e.g., contract performance, responding to inquiries, tax regulations, etc.). The processing period depends on the possibility of establishing, pursuing, or defending claims or when data retention is required by tax law.

  7. Visitors to the Website can fill out a form and subscribe to the newsletter by providing an email address and/or phone number which serves as the basis for automatic contact.
  8. Visitors to the Website may consent to advertising campaigns conducted by Us on social networks targeted based on the email address.

§3. DATA RECIPIENTS

We use the services of software companies and IT system maintenance providers, with whom we have relevant agreements. These agreements cover data processing rules and confidentiality. These data are not shared, and none of these companies have the right to process data in any way other than specified in the agreement. Your data, where the company has access to them, may only be processed for the purpose of proper service provision.
