The Zoobotanic Garden is located in the Western part of Toruń, in the district called Rybaki. The entrance is at 7 Bydgoska Street.
The total surface of the garden is 3,81 h, which allows you to fill the whole day with such a fascinating trip. There are trees of 55 species, 24 bush variations and about 50 animal species. The fauna world is represented by amongst others: bears, European bison, meerkats, mouflons, llamas, lynxes, yaks, apes, monkeys, ostriches, porcupines, Reeves's muntjacs, Bennetts’ tree-kangaroos, long-tailed gorals, barbary sheep, alpacas, donkeys, wild goats and lots of reptiles and amphibians herpetarium). There are also birds in the aviary and outdoor enclosures. Particularly interesting are the parrots of various species.
Elven trees standing in the park are in truth monuments of the animated nature. The collection includes: London plane (trunk diameter - 422 cm, height - 25 m), the European black pine (trunk diameter - 234 cm, height - 17 m), a sessile oak (trunk diameter - 324 cm, height 27.5 m), the two-flap gingko - the so called gingko biloba (trunk diameter - 171 cm, height 15 m), the European beech (trunk diameter - 279 cm, height 15 m) and the Turkish hazel (trunk diameter - 232 cm, height 9 m).
Apart from the outdoor enclosures for animals and a rich botanic garden, you can admire the following attractions here:
